Water Level Details
GOOD. Water stained; 65 degrees; 0.02 feet below pool. Water temperatures are in the middle 60s and falling slowly. Recent water releases from Possum Kingdom have filled Granbury. Some stained water exists in town and upstream with some floating debris, so navigate with caution. Sand bass action continues to be excellent near blue Water Shores, Decordova and near Indian Harbor. Largemouth bass are schooling with the sand bass. White and chartreuse jigging slabs are effective on the sand bass, striped bass and largemouth. Striped bass are hit-and-miss with some good fish to 9 pounds possible on live bait and trolled umbrella rigs. Best striped bass action is around the power lines in Striper Alley and some good catches reported near Indian Harbor. Crappie action on submerged structures from Water’s Edge to the Peninsula are good on small jigs and minnows. Some good reports of largemouth bass on the upper ends in the river near laydowns on crankbaits and soft plastics. Best catfish reports are in the stained water on the upper ends near Hunter Park on cut shad. Report by Michael Acosta, Unfair Advantage Charters.
